For surely I know
the plans I have for you,
says the LORD,
plans for your welfare
and not for harm,
to give you a
future with hope.
(Jeremiah 29:11)

Congregations and Leaders
Affected by the Hurricanes

The following congregations and leaders have been affected, directly or indirectly, by either Hurricane Katrina or Hurricane Rita.  The table below lists a variety of information about the congregation, including a description of damages incurred during the storm.

As you are answering God's call to be in partnership with our sisters and brothers, you are invited to either contact one of the volunteer sites listed on the volunteer site webpage (click here) or contact the congregation directly.

The congregations are listed alphabetically according to their location.  The street names are linked to a local map on Mapquest.  Links to pictures are under the "Damage from Hurricanes" column. Photos may also be found on the Photo Galleries page.
